Upon being named as Senior Vice President for Bath &. Body Works, John leads vision, strategy, and execution for all facets of brand positioning and messaging for the 6.5 bn specialty retailer, overseeing the development of innovative marketing campaigns to capture the attention of new customers while deepening existing relationships in a challenging and highly competitive industry. Mr. Camilleri has dedicated himself and his vision as a leader who engages in projects with an “All-In” attitude.
With a forte for successfully building strong teams and holding a key role leading all facets of creative marketing and strategy, Mr. Camilleri continues to drive innovation, brand awareness and engagement for the iconic brand of Bath & Body Works as a leading expert in its field with respect to the application of best business and marketing practices contributing to the following successes:
● Directs a team of over 100 professionals offering talents in In-store Marketing, Visual Merchandizing, Graphic Design, Web Design, Digital Design, Art Direction, Copy Writing, Acquisition Design, Email Marketing, Social Media, all external Comms as well as the studio and production teams. Mr. Camilleri currently manages an in-house creative team as well as agencies.

Prior to assuming the role of Senior Vice President for Bath & Body Works, John achieved over three decades of experience driving positive outcomes across Marketing Leadership, Promotional Campaigns, Marketing Communications, Rebranding Initiatives, Strategic Planning/Execution, Product Positioning, And Social Media Marketing in multiple roles with Rue Gilt Groupe, Laird And Partners and Gap.
Combining his proven business instinct with an unprecedented disciplinary work ethic, John has continuously exceeded expectations in high stake environments within Rue Gilt Groupe, The Children’s Place, and Laird And Partners positioning himself as a key member of each company and a driving force for growth.
John currently splits his time, with his partner between Ohio, New York City and Maine. Current obsessions, gardening, chickens and always people.
Mr. Camilleri holds a Master of Fine Arts Degree from Cranbook Academy of Arts, as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Design and Photography from Eastern Michigan University.
